⚠ critical disclaimer
Everything published on chadthedegen.com — including blog posts, courses, streams, bot walk-throughs, and all written or recorded material — is educational content only. It is not financial advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, not a forecast of future performance, and not a guarantee of any outcome. Trading carries substantial risk of loss including the entire amount invested. Always seek personalised advice from an AFSL-licensed Australian financial adviser before making any investment decision.
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using chadthedegen.com (“the site”), purchasing a course, subscribing to the newsletter, or joining a waitlist, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the site, purchase a course, or join the community. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement and that nothing in your local laws prevents you from accessing financial-education material or trading-related content.
3. Educational content only — not financial advice
This is the most important section. Read it twice.
- All material on the site is published as general educational content. None of it takes into account your personal financial situation, objectives, or needs.
- Past performance — including any percentage returns shown for the bots, trades, or strategies discussed — is not indicative of future results. Numbers displayed are case studies of historical activity, not forward claims.
- We do not provide personal financial product advice, do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), and are not authorised under one. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or avoid any specific asset, instrument, or strategy.
- You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions, and for any profits or losses arising from them. Do not copy, mirror, or replicate any strategy described on the site without your own due diligence and qualified professional advice.
- If you need advice tailored to your situation, consult a licensed Australian financial adviser. ASIC's adviser-finder at moneysmart.gov.au is a starting point.
4. Account and access
Some areas of the site (paid courses, the community when launched) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Sharing course access or membership credentials with anyone else is grounds for termination without refund.
5. Purchases, payments, and refunds
- Course pricing is shown on the relevant course page. Prices are quoted in AUD unless otherwise noted and are inclusive of any applicable Australian GST, handled at checkout via Stripe Tax.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Refund policy: a 14-day no-questions refund window applies to T2T and Bot Builder. Refund eligibility may be reduced once you've completed a substantial portion of the course (typically 20%+ progress for T2T; specific terms are stated at checkout).
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable period after request and approval. Email chad@chadthedegen.com to start a refund.
- Where required by Australian Consumer Law, you have additional non-excludable rights — these terms do not exclude or limit them.
6. Affiliate links and disclosures
Some outbound links — typically marked with /go/ in the URL or a visible “get it ↗” affordance on /tools — are affiliate links. If you sign up via one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never affect a review or recommendation; we only list products we use ourselves.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything illegal under Australian law or the law of your local jurisdiction.
- Scrape, mass-download, or redistribute course material, blog content, or community discussion without explicit permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to admin areas, accounts, or systems.
- Submit malicious content (malware, spam, harassing material) via any form on the site.
- Misrepresent yourself, impersonate another person, or use the site to defraud anyone.
- Use any automated tool (bot, scraper, AI agent) in ways that materially burden the site's infrastructure.
8. User-submitted content
If you submit a testimonial, comment, community post, or other content to the site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the site and our marketing — with attribution to you (or anonymised, if you prefer). You retain ownership of your content.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to anything you submit and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove submitted content at our discretion.
9. Intellectual property
All site content — written material, course videos, code samples, brand assets, design — is owned by Chad The Degen unless otherwise noted (e.g. third-party tooling we link to). You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own learning. You may not resell, sublicense, or republish the content without written permission.
Quoting short excerpts for review, commentary, or fair-use educational purposes is welcome and encouraged, with attribution.
10. Third-party services and external links
The site links to external services (exchanges, prop firms, tooling, social platforms). We are not responsible for the content, terms, privacy practices, or availability of those external services. Your interactions with them are governed by their own terms, not ours.
11. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any content. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the site, course purchases, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or AUD $100, whichever is greater).
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including lost profits, lost trading opportunities, lost data, or loss of goodwill — even if we've been advised of the possibility.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to any paid product, the community, or the site as a whole if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to other users or the site. Where you have paid for access and are terminated for cause, refunds are at our discretion.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. The Australian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
16. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or notified to active subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms, refund requests, or any other concern can be sent to chad@chadthedegen.com.
